Loser
A Drill Hall commission, created by the Company
with direction by John Paul Zaccarini with John Nicholson
Loser is the story of three people and the journey of grief when one of them is lost. Surrounded by memories, spiralling on a staircase, falling on ice, Loser builds a strong audience relationship with minimal text, surprising imagery, dynamic physicality and songs to laugh and cry with.
This is Visual Theatre with a heart that hurts and the guts to laugh at it.
Internationally acclaimed, award-winning Company F.Z create work that is comic, tragic, visual and physical. Their interpretations of circus for visual theatre are a unique synthesis of physical and vocal language with emotional intelligence. Their writing comes from the collective minds of the performers and directors to create a richness and originality that is key to its success.
